OK we have decided we need to write on this more, when you miss a month its getting bad. So lets see...Mike is still sick and coughing all the time, so he called in sick for work and we are going to the Dr to make sure its nothing bad. We also got him some more medicine so hopefully he will feel better soon.
I just had a week off of school for "Thanksgiving break" which was sweet for the sleep - I was awake for 53 hrs studying before that last test (hopefully that will not happen again cause my body hated me for some time). But I have passed every test so far so :) :) :), and I am out of bio chem and actually learning about drugs....bad part is I am learning them so fast that no one in the class could retain what they are learning, but they said its to get the basics down. We had thanksgiving at Mike's uncles (David) and it was really a lot of fun and amazing food and a little awkward for me but turned out great.
On Saturday we started a Christmas tradition and cut down our very first Christmas tree. We went with Tom and Julie and Q and had a great time playing in the snow and riding on the four wheeler. We absolutely love the tree and didn't need to cut that much off. but as you can see the lights don't go right to the top because we (me and mike) are not that tall, so we will figure that part out later.
Mike is pushing hard in school and has a final this week and a presentation and 2 tests...you can tell the semester is coming to an end. Crazy, but its just one day at a time and living at the library. Mike is still working at UVRMC and loves it and they love him, he worked the last 5 out of 6 days which i was pissy about because it was my weekend off, but got to do what you got to do.
Oh and i shadowed at the hospital pharmacy and LOVED it, I think that is where i want to end up, it was so much more comprehensive and you saw more than just a prescription, you saw the diagnosis and the rest of the treatment. I felt it was utilizing more knowledge and you were part of a large team working together for the patient. Amazing. (Oh and they had a robot!)
Well it will be a busy 2 weeks so we may not write but after that its Christmas break "YAHOO" and so we will write then. We love you all so much and wish we could see you all more....one day.
Happy Holidays
Star (and Mike)

Your tree looks amazing... that day was a lot of fun. We always look forward to spending time with the two of you. Christmas is an amazing time of year... pause in your busy life and give yourself the time to enjoy it together. That first Christmas together is one you will always look back on.
